Motivational nightmares

I've been having nightmares for the past few days, if you can call them that.

One night I had totally forgotten to do my German homework for the entire month, and last night the police were closing in on me after I'd botched some good old-fashioned terrorism.

(I still don't understand why I would be bombing anything, but I was apparently really bad at it.)

On television people always wake up from nightmares in a cold sweat, but I wake up from these feeling fantastic — once I realize that here, in the real world, I haven't made a complete hash of my life. And that I don't have to do homework ever again.

It's an even better feeling than those dreams where you're late for work and then you wake up and it's way early or better yet, Saturday.

Tangentially related to this post, actually - about a bazillion years ago you recommended Sandman to me. I'm back to report, it's pretty damn awesome so far.

Oh yes, yes it is. I think "Brief Lives" is my favorite one, but once it gets ramped up the whole series is great.

Also, I didn't know you had a knitting blog. Hip!
