After a brief happy hour at the Muddy Pig yesterday — Jess now insists that we call it "the Muddy" even though everyone else in the world knows it as "the Pig" — I chauffeured Ben, Jenna, Caitlin, and the aforementioned neo-hippie to Shelley's place for the Project Runway season finale.

I can't remember the last time that the person I thought should win the challenge did win, and this episode was no exception. I clearly don't understand women's fashion: here I thought ladies wanted outfits that they could wear somewhere, sometime, theoretically.

Wednesday's get-together was nonetheless pretty fun, and it was nice to see Shelley, the reigning champion of our long-running ridiculous comments game.

(Speaking of offensive remarks, I realized just this morning that I've been rocking the Evil Eye for a week or so now, i.e. I've been unusually judgmental — if not outright critical — of late. So... sorry about that, people who didn't deserve it. I've been in a really good mood too, so I don't know what the deal was.)

Yesterday's big development was that Girls' Night will henceforth always be on Wednesday night instead of Monday, even though that's another night when Shelley can't make it. She suggested Thursday, but there were far too many Losties in attendance for that proposal to fly.

(Incidentally: last week's episode of Lost was hella awesome. I've heard a lot of people say it's their favorite this season.)

It'll be nice to have something to break up the week again. Although this week is actually an exception, in that I've been doing something fun prettymuch every night. And will be until Sunday: Tonight is Lost, tomorrow is our biweekly coworker thing, and Saturday, rumor has it that some people are going loopy.
