Readying myself for the mystical journey to Columbus, Ohio, for another Lawrence get-together. I was so close to only bringing a carry-on, but I ultimately opted for the convenience of a sleeping bag over the convenience of having no checked luggage. The latter is very nice, but occasionally also very cold.
(See: Karlsruhe.)
I don't have too much weekend pre-game to offer that isn't merely a shallow attempt to work the collective noun warch — as in "a warch of Lawrentians" — into the post.
I'm a little nervous about the weather, and slightly more nervous about socializing with all these rowdy U-frisbee types at once, but on the other side of the ledger I've written the word fun in all caps, with several exclamation marks.
So we'll see. I can tell you right now that it won't be a relaxing weekend, because that's just not how I'm wired; however, hopefully it'll be enjoyable.
I took tomorrow off, because my flight leaves at 9 a.m. I should probably get to sleep immediately.
