I finally found Amelia's place last night, although at one point I had to ask that oh-so-vital question, "Jenna, do you mean right, or left?"
This proved to be the second-most important question of the night, just behind "Should we order Chinese food?" (We answered that correctly, but fumbled the execution.) We played Balderdash, sorta, so there were many questions, but the Chinese food one was key.
I know this isn't the freaking Olympics, but I still feel obliged to complain about the judging on America's Next Top Model yesterday. Let me get this straight: you give someone a makeover of your own design, then mock them and ultimately kick them off the show because of the way they look now? That's just... completely unfair.
I have the house to myself next weekend — all next week, actually — so a "Dan Saves Halloween" party is certainly possible... but Amelia's party looks like this year's Big Deal. As long as someone is saving this all-too-neglected holiday, I'm satisfied.
I actually have my costume all figured out now; I just need to assemble it. It was initially a Matryoshka a.k.a. "double" costume, but that proved too difficult. Maybe next year.
